Photo Card Chef offers Professional Photo Re-Touching so your images can showcase your true beauty at an affordable price. Our Photo Touch Up services are provided by Photoshop professionals with a vast array of skills, and are dedicated to making your images shine.  Our goal is to provide your photos with a professional's touch.

It is important to read all information below and all information in the 'more photo information' tab before ordering.

How to order:

1. Contact us with your images and desired touch ups via e-mail at Photos@PhotoCardChef.com
The image re-touching services we offer are listed below with examples of our work. Please note that we may not be able to accomodate all photo touch up requests. Please contact us at Photos@PhotoCardChef.com with your images and desired results so we can evaluate the request. We will then let you know if your requests can be successfully implemented, at which point, you are welcome to order the Re-Touching Service.

2. Order online
For each image that has been cleared by our designers for touching up, use this order form to complete your purchase. READ ALL INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE ORDERING.

Once we have reviewed and accepted your image touch up request, you may order your touch up(s) from this page. If your image still needs tweaking after you receive your first touched-up version, we are happy to adjust our touch-up and send another version. Any further re-touching required after the second version is submitted will be a $10 charge per new version requested, per photo. All image touch-up orders are non-refundable. We will do everything we can to make sure your images come out well.

Important note: Photo Card Chef cannot touch up any images taken professionally including images taken in studios such as Sears or Target. If your photos were taken by a professional, we recommend contacting your photographer to make your desired modifications. Remember that Photo Card Chef requires a photographer release to be able to print professionally taken images.

A Photo Card Order is not required to purchase our Professional Image Re-Touching Service. This service is available to any image (that was not professionally taken) for any purpose. Photo Card Chef does not hold the rights to your images after adjustments have been made and you can share or print your new images as usual.

1. Lightening your image:

Our most common request for photo enhancing is to lighten an image. Dark images just don't print well. This image had good composition, but lacked 'pop' and interest. Many photos often have a darker tone to them, despite the best attempt of the photographer. We have lightened this image and given it just a bit of extra contrast for a more professional look. We also smoothes out the wrinkles in the forehead for perfect skin and coloring. We have also added a slight vignette (darkening around corners and edges) to help direct the audience's attention to the center. We can easily vignette your image upon request.

2. Fly-Away Hair, clothing, etc.

Once in a while, the wind will take a piece of hair and make it the centerpiece of your image. Fly-away clothing, such as scarves or billowy shirts can also be a disctraction. This original photo was a beautiful capture, but the wind took one piece of hair just at the wrong time and gained center stage. Our Photo Card Chef Pro Re-Toucher simply brought the focus back to the subject's eyes by eliminating the fly-away hair. We also lightened the photo just a touch for a more professional look.

3. Acne/Scarring and Teeth Whitening:

The great smile and personality of this high school senior was lost in the darkness of this image and blemished, red skin. In addition to lightening this photo, we cleaned up the acne, smoothed un-sightly pores and whitened teeth and eyes. We also removed some of the red tones that were present in his cheeks, forehead, and nose for a more even skin tone. The result is a stunning image, worthy of printing, using on a graduation card, and just plain being proud to call your own!

4. Increase Saturation and Tone:

This original picture has plenty of potential interest with an intriguing look from our subject and a beautiful textured backdrop, but the darkness and low saturation prevented this photo from having any 'life' to it. We lightened this stunning picture, saturated the colors and brightened her eyes for a nice pop of color. We softened her skin a bit to help direct the audience to her mesmerizing gaze. The red brick on the oiriginal image hardly made any impact, but with some simple saturation and lightening, this image comes to life with a very professional touch.

5. Dark Eye Circles / Bags Under Eyes:

This was an absolutely beautiful picture, serene and calm, but the focus of the image was lost a bit with the dark circles under her eyes. We simply brought out the true blue of her piercing eyes by taking out the bags or dark circles, while still maintaining a normal and believable apperance. Many photographers tend to 'over-do' this area and completely eliminate all shadows, which makes the subject look puffy-eyed. Our goal is to provide natural looking touch ups for an image that is true to the subject and portrays her in her best light.

6. Glamourize!

Our client simply wanted slightly bigger hair for a more glamorous look. In this example, we have added body to her hair.

7. Slimming and Re-Shaping:

Photo Card Chef also offers slimming for bulging dresses and other unusual bumps or areas that need to be flattened out. This technique is applied with great care and only in moderation. In this image, the composition and framing of the photo was attractive, but her arms seemed to take attention away from her beautiful face. We simply slimmed her arms (again, in moderation) and waist to bring the focus of the photo back up to her eyes. This technique will not be used to make you look like someone you're not. We want to make you look like the best YOU you can be! Photo slimming cannot be done in large amounts. We cannot change your dress size, but we can help un-sightly areas that would not normally be there.

8. Vintage and Retro Coloring

Sometimes a card simply calls for a vintage coloring or retro coloring technique for your photos. This vintage coloring technique is called our "Veiled Vintage" color, with a hint of Acid Washed appeal - perfect for any retro wedding invitation or retro graduation card. Your original image must have good contast and lighting for a vintage coloring technique to work properly. Remember to contact us to see if your photo will work well with our photo touch up techniques before ordering.
