Meet the Designer

The Photo Card Chef

My name is Eldeen Pickett (Ellie for short) . In this short bio, I’ll tell you about my loves, hates, hobbies, and why I decided to become a card designer. I’m so glad that you decided to check in, and I sincerely hope I can provide you with exactly what you are looking for in a card.

First my loves. Above all, I love God and my family. We have an awesome church called Northern Hills Christian Church in Brighton, Colorado. My life just gets better each week attending there. I have an incredibly supportive husband and two beautiful daughters who join me. You’ve met them - they are in a few examples for wedding invitations and birth announcements. Judd is my trusted web developer, and Aria and Summer keep me laughing.

I also love music and art. I graduated college with a degree in Choral Education and currently teach piano and voice lessons out of my home. Teaching music connects with me in a way nothing else does. I truly love it. I also love painting and drawing.  I paint modern type paintings all the time — you can mess those up and they still look good!

Now for hates. I don’t hate much (I don’t think anybody does), but my short list includes being lied to, feeling embarrassed, and language used inappropriately. I learned a few years ago how much better communication goes when you use words for their original intent.

I do other things besides change diapers, teach music, and paint. I also ride sport bikes - with great care and a good helmet. I do my best to decorate cakes for family occasions, and to fill my daytime, I create photo cards.

I fully enjoy the “artistic outlet” creating the cards provides (there are only so many walls that can hold paintings). I created my own wedding invitations because I wanted something unique, and now I am doing my best to provide unique cards for others. There are a lot of trends out there, which are cute, and I follow some of those, but I really want to find a style for those who are looking for something different.

Good luck finding what you are looking for — if you don’t, I will gladly create a card with your specifications. Visit our Completely Customized Cards page. I found a wonderful printing company who is dead on every time with color and quality. I love being confident about the product I produce. It has been, and will continue to be, a very satisfying job, if you can even call it that. Thank you, and I hope to hear from you soon.
